Geopolitical Intelligence Group (GIG) was founded in Canberra in 2018 to give governments and corporations analyst-led intelligence on the political and conflict risks facing their people and operations abroad. In 2022 GIG joined NSI Global, the Australian-owned intelligence, counterintelligence, and risk firm founded by Navid Sobbi in 2004.
Today GIG is headquartered in Dubai, with analysts and specialists in Australia, the UAE, UK and Singapore. We work for governments, financial institutions, multinational corporations, law firms, and critical-infrastructure operators across MENA, the EU, the UK, and APAC.
Our work is human-led. Analysts, field-based specialists, and national security professionals combine local insight with strategic foresight, and every product is signed off by an analyst before it reaches a client. Whether the question is political instability, a transnational threat, or a sector-specific risk, the aim is the same: clarity in complexity.
